Braided polywire conductor the ideal conductor for your electric fence. The characteristics of the wire allows the product to be used for different fences.

The conductor's high quality polywire makes it ideal for mobile fences. With mobile fences the conductor has to endure more tear and wear. Higher quality polywire ensures the durability of the electric fence.

As the polywire is braided, the conductor tends to hold its form better compared to twisted polywire.

The use of 6 stainless steel conductors and 3 copper conductors ensures great flow of energy through the fence. Besides the number of conductors, the material of conductors have an influence of the conductivity of the conductor. Copper has a higher conductivity compared to steel, so the more copper wires, the better conductivity of the fence conductor.

One can identify a highly conductive fence conductor based on its resistance. The lower the resistance, the higher the conductivity. When comparing conductors, look at the resistance in Ohms. This braided polywire of Hotline has a resistance of 0.06 ohms.

The main reasons to invest in conductors with low resistance are the length of the fence and if it is placed in high vegetation. The longer the fence or more vegetation is touching the fence, the lower resistance the fence should have to work properly.
