Strainrite Post Hole Rammer.

Compacting the soil around a newly installed fence post through the entire depth of the hole is really important for stability and an often overlooked part of the installation. Using Strainrite’s post hole rammer means that you can to a “proper job” from the bottom of the hole up, rather than just firming up the top few inches using your boot to tamp the soil down.

The post hole rammer weights just under 4 kg and has a 1630 mm galvanised handle that is balanced by a cast iron foot. The foot is shaped to target the force where it’s needed, firmly tamping down the soil near the post and throughout the entire depth of the hole.
