The Pulsara PC850 is the energiser which is mostly used for small paddocks holding horses, sheep, cattle or goats. With it's 0.9 Joule stored energy and 7.300 output voltage the maximum fence length is 5 kilometers.

The energiser comes in a robust housing built to stand the toughest conditions. The energiser can be powered by a 12V battery as wel as by 230 mains connection. This makes the energiser very versatile and perfect for most situations. If you need to charge a fence less then 5 km, the PC850 is your choice.

The PC850 energiser comes with an in-built lightning protection. This protection makes sure that when the lightning strikes your fence, the power of the lightning releases through the earthrods. Therefore you do not have to worry when lightning strikes your fence, as this will not ruin your whole electric circuit.

For installation of the Pulsara PC850 energiser we recommend 1 meter earth rods. There is no special combination of earth rods recommended, as long the total length of earth rods is 1 meter. In general the rule of thumb for earthing of the energisers is 1 meter per output joule. As the Pulsara PC850 energiser has a maximum output joule 0.76J, the recommended earthing is 1 meter. Choosing for less earthing could impact the performance of the energiser, having more does not impact the performance.
