Gallagher TurboLine Fence Tape 20 mm/200 m (Blue)
Our top wide tape for medium to long fence systems, ideal for wolf or wild boar fences.
A very tear-resistant, highly conductive Gallagher TurboLine fence tape (wide tape) for long, permanent wildlife deterrent fences. It offers excellent visibility and is particularly stable due to the reinforced edge. Guaranteed power supply along the entire length of the fence thanks to its excellent conductivity. The unique composition ensures 40 times better conductivity than standard fence tape.
The tape is equipped with 2 x 0.16 and 1 x 0.2 stainless steel conductors as well as 2 x 0.25 tinned copper conductors. The UV-resistant plastic made from PE monofilaments and high-quality workmanship guarantees a long-lasting and robust fence. The blue color ensures high visibility for wildlife (wild boars, wolves).

What does it mean that TurboLine is 40x more conductive than standard conductor material?
If you built two different fences with a length of 1.0 km, one with a single strand of standard wire/tape/rope and the other with a single strand of TurboLine, both fences would initially show 8,000 volts. However, at the end of the fence, you would read only 600 volts on the standard conductor material, while the Turbo fence would show 7.100 volts. The resistance of a conductor (wire/tape/mesh) is measured in Ohms. The lower the resistance, the more conductive the wire/tape/mesh. Therefore, always look for the lowest possible resistance per meter.
Why is copper so important?
Some metals conduct electricity better than others. Metals that are good conductors have low resistance, and metals that are poor conductors have high resistance. Copper is a conductor with very low resistance, which allows Turbo products to transport electricity much further along the fence line than standard conductor material. The copper wires in Gallagher Turbo products are tinned. If you pull apart the plastic and metal strands, you will not see copper-colored wires. The advantage of tinned copper over non-tinned copper wire is longer life. Tinned copper is less prone to corrosion and even more conductive!
