With the M120 electric fence energiser, you can rely on a powerful and reliable device from the Gallagher Power Plus series. The electric fence charger stores a maximum of 1.2 joules and generates a maximum voltage of 7.000 volts.

The Gallagher M120 is the entry-level mains energiser for fencing horse and cattle. With this device you can set-up an electric fence for a few horses or small group of livestock.

Fence length

The Gallagher M120 is effectively supporting electric fencing up-to 30 kilometers. This length is supported for a single wire fence under ideal conditions.

When the fence charger is used for multiwire fencing, we would advice the M120 for up-to 8 kilometers. High vegetation is impacting the maximum length of the fence. With high vegetation, we would recommend this energiser for a maximum length of 2,5 kilometers.

Battery back up

The Gallagher M120 has the unique feature to connect a 12V battery as a back up. This feature is very convenient in places with an unsecure power supply. If a power failure occurs, the 12 volt battery functions as a back-up, making sure the fence is constantly powered.

The Gallagher M120 is designed according to the latest standards. This ensures the device is one of the safest in the market. Touching the fence will give a little shock without causing any injuries to people or animals.

Gallagher quality

To ensure you will get a quality product when buying the M120 mains energiser, Gallagher has a unique testing procedure.

Firstly Gallagher has some extreme tests during the development of its energisers. During the development all energisers are being dropped from 1 meter. Every side of the energiser is dropped on a hard concrete surface. The requirement is that the charger is still working and protected by its case.

Another test during the development of the charger is a temperature stress test. The mains energiser should still be working in -80 °C and +180 °C.

When the model has survived these tests, it is ready for production.

To ensure the model you receive keeps up to its promises, it is tested for 24 hours before being shipped. If any failure occurs during these 24 hours, the product will be disapproved. Therefor you will always receive a fully functional device.

Gallagher's confidence in their product shows through the extra 7 year warranty they offer. Gallagher is the only fencing brand offering such a long warranty period.

Installation

When setting up your Gallagher M120, it is important to pay attention to the grounding. Proper grounding is essential for your charger to perform at its best. For the Gallagher M120 two earth rods of 1 meter are recommended.

The earth rod can be connected to your device by the Gallagher connection cables(art. nr. 004938). These cables can also be used to connect your energiser to the fence or 12V battery.

7 year warranty

The Gallagher M120 has a standard warranty of 3 years. If you register your device, Gallagher will give you an extra 4 years warranty. You can register your device at Gallagher.eu.
