Gallagher Double Earthstake - 0.5 m (incl. 3 m cable)

For an electric fence energiser to function properly, the device must be adequately grounded. Only use galvanized earthstakes as they are rustproof and therefore more conductive.

Also use earthstakes of the correct length - suitable for the performance of your electric fence energiser. The length of the earthstakes and the number required depends on the electric fence device used.

This 0.5 meter long double earth rod has a comparable electrical conductivity to a 1 meter long earthstake.

Our recommendation:

Battery devices: minimum length 0.5 m
Cordless devices: minimum length 1 m
Power supplies: minimum length 1.7 - 2 m

Expert tip:

Drive the earthstakes into moist soil
Maintain a distance of 3 m between each ground rod
Only use rust-free ground rods - rust has an insulating effect and hinders the return of voltage to the electric fence energiser
